ABOUT THE POSITION:

Reports To: Brand Manager
Status: Full-Time
OBJECTIVE
The Web Marketing Coordinators responsibilities will center on the execution of an integrated set of marketing tactics, with the specific end-goal of increasing brand awareness, growing the database and driving traffic and conversion for the web. The Web Marketing Coordinator will employ a mix of traditional, interactive and grassroots tactics to deliver the Company message. Key success metrics will be the increase in our database and achieving sales targets.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
Basic web marketing and optimal e-commerce site layout
E-Commerce marketing through extant and emerging web best practices
Experience with social media, email, SEO/PPC/ affiliate, blog/buzz & viral marketing
Site optimization and improvement for marketing purposes
Setting and measuring through analytical and reporting tool
The ability to create, manage and oversee all implementation (excluding coding and actual graphic design) of all of the above tasks
Have a pulse on Customer Service demands
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Strategic Development & Operations
o Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive traffic, increase the customer base and expand customer engagement across product platforms
o Assist in the strategic development of a new site infrastructure
o Work closely with Web team to execute planned promotions to achieve KPIs
o Work closely with Web CSR to ensure customer demands are being met, and orders are being shipping accurately and on time.
2. Web Analysis
o Manage the set up and tracking of all web marketing campaigns
o Create scorecard & KPI reports for marketing campaigns, lead generation activities, traffic & competitor analysis.
o Utilize information from web analytics and merchandising reports to make ongoing strategic marketing recommendations to improve conversion rates and ensure sales and revenue objectives are being met
o Accountable for improving performance productivity
o Report on customer patterns and engagement for online
3. Email Strategy
o Find opportunities to grow our email database through both online and in-store promotions
o Work with our Graphic Designer to develop emails that clearly communicate both our retail and online sales and promotions.
o Work with provider to maximize email delivery and engagement within proposed communication strategy

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Post secondary school diploma/degree, preferably in Marketing or Business or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years Marketing or Web Experience
