We are looking for an accounting professional to join our Burnaby office. (located close to Lougheed Town Center)
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reconciling and maintaining general ledger accounts
- A/R and A/P sub-ledgers
- Payroll
- Preparation of monthly management financial statements
- Preparation of quarterly financial statements
- General Ledger subsystem posting
- Maintaining Capital Asset working paper files
- Maintaining and posting monthly adjusting and recurring journal entries
- Completion and filing of various tax forms
- Assist in month/year end financial statements and prepare working paper
- Preparing analysis to support the preparation of management financial statements
- Preparing working papers and lead sheets for auditors at year end
Required experience and education:
-Minimum 3 years full cycle accounting experience
-Accounting designation preferred
-Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
-Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
