Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated marketing professional with proven success in B2B marketing. This is an exciting growth position, where your intelligence, energy, and passion for results will be highly visible to the senior executive team and all your colleagues.



In this position, you are the marketing department, with full responsibility for all the company's marketing activities - from concept to implementation. You will have external resources (marcomm, web design, and PR agencies) to assist, and this is also a job where you have to be ready and able to roll up your sleeves and deliver quality results.

The successful candidate will be based in our Vancouver office.



Responsibilities

* In conjunction with sales, product management, and the external marcomm agency, create and manage promotional campaigns to achieve specific sales and marketing objectives
* Identify and implement new marketing opportunities to increase awareness among Radiant's key markets and constituencies (e.g. the IT consultant community, the VAR community) and to drive revenue opportunities.
* Become the focal point for Radiant's marketing activities, coordinating internal and external resources to maximize achievement of our sales objectives.
* Manage the Radiant.net website for SEO, including ongoing analysis of actual activity on the site, use of Google adwords, banner ads, and/or third-party links to drive inbound page views
* Manage the conversion of leads from the web-site into the CRM system; provide on-going analysis of the conversion efficiency, lead quality, and eventual outcome.
* Manage the website content, collateral, PowerPoint presentations, proposal templates, and whitepapers to be in synch with the current products and marketing strategies
* Manage an external PR agency to obtain ongoing coverage of the company to complement our other marketing objectives
* Develop the messaging and positioning of Radiant's products and services. This includes the following:
o Creating content for sales collateral and website
o Developing campaigns (direct mail, email, webinars)
o Writing press releases, case studies, white papers as applicable
o Work with Product Marketing Management to integrate specific messaging into product collateral
o Tracking the effectiveness of campaigns executed for your segment
o Chair/Organize weekly meetings with Sales to help improve lead generation
o Develop Partner Marketing programs.
o Manage Media relations
* Other Marketing tasks as required



Skills and Experience Required

* Business degree, ideally an MBA with a marketing focus plus 3-5 years working experience, preferably within the high technology environment.
* Experience in business-to-business marketing in Canada.

* Excellent understanding of web site design and the SEO process
* Superior skills with PowerPoint, Word, and Illustrator (or equivalent)
* Proven experience motivating teams to achieve strong results in critical delivery periods

* Passion for technology; ability to understand highly technical concepts quickly and to communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.

* Proven strength and excellence in multiple core marketing and/or solutions marketing functions including: branding, messaging, positioning, campaign development, public relations and agency management.
* Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment without strong supervision.

* Build trust, value others and demonstrate high level of integrity.
