We are expanding our team at Casting Workbook and are looking for an intelligent and creative .NET developer to play an active role in the design and development of an innovative, world-class product. As a member of our small agile development team, you will work independently to design, develop, code, test, document and support our heavily used software products. You will share what you have learned with the team, and learn what the team has discovered.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in developing web applications using .NET.
Must have:
• ASP.NET 2.0/3.5 using C#
• ASP.NET MVC or experience with other MVC frameworks
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL 2005/2008, T-SQL, query optimization, stored procedures
• LINQ
• Experience with ORM tools such as NHibernate, Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL Entities, etc.
• JavaScript / jQuery / Ajax
• XML / Soap / JSON Web Services, REST
• XHTML / CSS
• Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming Principles and Design Patterns
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent
