Marketing Specialist - 6 month contract (Richmond)

Sage has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist for a 6 month contract.





The appropriate candidate will provide critical support to Simply Accountings Install Based Sales and Marketing team via development, co-ordination and implementation of marketing programs. The individual will be capable of handling multiple responsibilities and has excellent time management skills. He or she will interact on a regular basis with a broad cross-section of internal key stakeholders and customers to achieve objectives. Excellent communication skills are a must.





Develop and implement marketing install base campaigns including creation and distribution of campaign and sales briefs, run test cells within each campaign, work/review copy with creative team, maintain inhouse art files


Diligently forecast revenue, track and report return on invest per program to gauge the success of marketing campaigns and remain within budget and in line with financial objectives.


Support and prepare marketing communications and materials to target audience.


Clearly communicate with the sales teams - supporting them with training materials, product/services and offer information, competitive data and sales collateral


Based on results, provide key insights and recommendations to enhance/improve future marketing campaigns.


Liaise with internal key stakeholders including and agencies where required


Other duties as assigned





Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Marketing managing B2B campaigns


Excellent planning, organizational and follow-up skills


Proven experience maximizing revenue and response rates for B2B campaigns


Strong analytical and financial skills. With Proven experience tracking and analyzing ROI on marketing campaigns


Strong written and verbal communication skills


Positive attitude and exceptional people skills; genuine desire to do more than punch the clock


Ability to work under pressure and adapt to various situations in a fast paced industry


Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and consistently produces polished documents


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or relevant work experience
