Our Infant/Toddler daycare in North Vancouver is looking for an experienced ECE teacher/caregiver for our Infant/Toddler program. This special person must be caring, creative, motivated, enthusiastic, patient, and qualified. The successful applicant will have an ECE license. We would also be willing to look at an ECE assistant, who is studying to get their ECE.
This special person will be prepared to work individually with groups of children, and be a part of our team of children, parents, and staff members. This person loves working with children, takes responsibilities and initiatives, and is both flexible and reliable. Additional skills such as sign language, music, art, computer, and special needs education could be useful.
We would like an experienced person. This is a full time position, working within the centre’s hours of 7:00am to 5:30 pm.
The right person must be able to plan, implement, and supervise creative age-appropriate programming to promote growth and development of children under 3 years old. This person must be able to provide strong and direct education and support to children, parents and staff. This person must always ensure the health and safety of the children, and be prepared to work within the philosophy of the centre.
