Full-time opening for competent and personable Billings professional for the accounting department of a fast-paced, friendly, professional office located in downtown Vancouver.
Your can-do attitude and common sense smarts are key in this role. The position is largely comprised of the following duties:
Invoice generation including:
o draft invoices with back-up reports;
o revisions and approvals as necessary;
o analysis of billing information as received from various project managers;
o processing of final invoices;
A broad variety of clerical duties for example: support document acquisition, preparation of project reports, filing, timesheet data entry;
Smooth communication with peers, project managers, admin staff and VPs;
Review of project inventory, expenses, write-offs, transfers, and revenue for each project;
Computer generation and maintenance of project files with billing terms and revenue recognition information; and
Fielding invoice and project costing queries.
Requirements:
Minimum two years experience working in a professional, computerized accounting department;
Problem solving acumen in conjunction with basic accounting abilities;
High school graduate with proclivity for numbers, work organization and high detail orientation; and
Personable, diplomatic, communicative with exceptional keyboarding skills (both accurate and fast) in Excel and Word; and
