Busy Chartered Accounting firm, based in North Vancouver about a 10 minute walk from the seabus, is looking for a mature and enthusiastic receptionist/ administrative assistant to join their team.
Duties Include:
- Managing the switchboard, 5 lines
- Filing and file management
- Assembling financial statement packages
- Prepare mail-merges from database for letters and envelopes
- Maintain calendar for the board room
- Occasional preparation of coffee and tea and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Occasional vacuuming
- Ad hoc administrative projects
Qualifications
- Organized with great communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of word and excel, some database experience would be nice
- At lease 3 years experience working in an office and team environment
- Easy going personality that is able to get along with many people in a team environment
- Excellent telephone manner
- A self starter; able to prioritize and multi-task
- Discreet and responsible
- Physically fit enough to lift and move filing boxes, etc.
Hours of work
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4 :30 PM
