IT Manager - Enterprise


You will be responsible for managing of application and network infrastructure of our corporate offices throughout the globe. You will also contribute as part of the IT team in development and hosting maintenance and solutions.



The ideal candidate will have:

* Led operational and strategic planning related to the Enterprise IT infrastructure, including Networks (LAN/WAN), Helpdesk, Global IT Operations for a 500 employee organization.
* An excellent and innovative technical problem identification and resolution skills that allow you to cope with the challenges and opportunities

* Proven superior client management skills and strong verbal and written communications skills
* Experience managing projects and meeting budget, objectives and deliverables
* Experience managing junior team members on day to day operations as well as project objectives
* Experience in a 24x7 production environment delivering high availability or mission-critical applications; available for on-call
* Experience with implementing and managing technology and business processes around security and change management
* Experience with design, deployment and management:

1. Multi-site HA environments for Exchange 2010 and Windows 2008 AD
2. Enterprise Desktop Deployment/Management
3. Multi-site Cisco VOIP and Network environments
4. NetApp and/or other SAN/NAS
5. Advanced Disaster Recovery Technologies: Netbackup Enterprise, Vranger , Replication, DPM
6. VMware Infrastructure and/or other virtualization technologies

* Benchmark, analyze report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure.
* Manage financial aspects of the IT infrastructure, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
* Develop and implement IS policies and procedures for infrastructure architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, and service provision.
* Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT infrastructure including the network, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
* Work with the Director and VP of IT to define the infrastructure requirements for new business systems implementations (including cost, deployment and integration issues).

Your Professional Qualifications

* Leadership: Demonstrated IT employee/organizational leadership skills in an IT infrastructure environment including an ability to lead major change and projects initiatives using technology as an enabling resource.
* IT Infrastructure Experience: Extensive knowledge of IT planning, IT infrastructure operations and services delivery gained through a minimum of 10 years progressive related experience in a complex multi-stakeholder IT environment. This includes strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, PC operating systems and associated protocols, standards, security/privacy practices and laws.
* Service Delivery: Experience leading an IT service delivery organization including the ability to prioritize multiple, conflicting demands in a time-sensitive high pressure environment. Knowledge and experience with ITIL or any other service management tools or processes is an asset.
* Team Building: You have exceptional abilities at mentoring and engaging others, empowering your team and inspiring them to excellence
* Customer Service Orientation and Relationship Management: Exceptional customer services, relationship management, facilitation and negotiation skills
* Critical Thinking: Well developed critical thinking, problem solving, analytical and planning skills coupled with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively
* Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continuous improvement principles including a commitment to excellence and the ability to facilitate innovation and creativity.
* Communication: ability to form effective working relationships and communicate well with all levels including a client orientation and excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and presentation skills.

Education & Certification

* University or college degree in the field of computer science and at least 10 years related work experience.
* Professional Certifications in relevant areas is an asset - this includes servers, networks, operating systems, ITIL/services management, project management, etc.
