MARKETING MANAGER

Incognito Software Inc., a Canadian company with headquarters in Vancouver, has been providing connectivity solutions for large networks since 1992. Our software helps global communications service providers and enterprises quickly and cost-effectively deploy data, voice, and video networks using our automated IP address management, domain management, and provisioning systems.

We are looking for a highly motivated marketer with a proven track record of increasing responsibility to join our team and lead worldwide marketing programs. Developing comprehensive campaigns and initiatives that span our target segments and product lines is a strategic priority for the company and essential to drive continued revenue and profit growth. The Marketing Manager will have the opportunity to build truly innovative campaigns that meet the needs of our customers, partners and sales prospects.

This exciting role offers significant room for future growth and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will be based in the Vancouver office.

The main responsibility for this position is to continually analyze market segments, build customer focused campaigns and initiatives and take them to market via coordinated activities globally. Other responsibilities include:

• Develop integrated marketing and branding strategies that address key segments and geographies worldwide.

• Drive and manage the Marketing plan budget and campaign execution.

• Work jointly with Product Management, Sales and Channel teams to bring campaigns and solutions to market.

• Develop Partner Marketing programs that enable sell through of our offerings and increase usage of our software.

• Lead and build marketing programs and execution strategies that target our existing customer install base.

• Continually improve and manage the maintenance of the Incognito.com website.

• Work with the product management team to develop solutions that address specific business challenges for key customer segments including Telcom Service Providers and Cable Companies.

• Conduct and/or manage research and trend analysis to guide marketing strategy and programs. Provide market opportunities analysis to executive team. Make recommendations on brand awareness/market leadership strategies.

• Manage media relations.



CORE COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (marketing or business related major preferred) or MBA.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in product, programs or channel marketing or equivalent work experience at a successful software or high tech company. Experience with Telcom Service Providers or Cable Companies strongly preferred.

• Proven strength and excellence in multiple core marketing and/or solutions marketing functions including: messaging, positioning, campaign development, communications, naming, agency management.

• Passion for software and ability to understand highly technical concepts quickly.

• Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Build trust, value others and demonstrate high level of integrity.

• Ability to perform as part of a team as well as individually.

• Experience in successfully managing a Marketing team (both in-house and contractors).
