Job Description
The ownership group of Piranha Games Inc is starting a new venture and is seeking to create a small, tightly knit mobile development team. The ideal candidates will be pro-active and diplomatic communicators capable of championing ideas and establishing confidence in all team members with regards to their areas of expertise. As the team will be working both independently and as a group, successful candidates must be professionals who embrace a collaborative and casual work environment and who demonstrate a strong focus on peer support and recognition. Lone wolves or those that need constant hand holding need not apply.
Mobile Augmented Reality Specialist:
• B.Sc in Computer Sciences or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• 2 + years of professional programming experience with a focus on visual programming/image recognition/augmented reality experience for mobile/digital devices
• Proven ability to quickly understand and implement new technologies
• Advanced knowledge of graphics APIs (Direct X/Open GL)
• C++/Objective C/Java
• Experience integrating own code with large code bases
This is an in house full time contract position for an initial term of one year.
