Techvibes Media Inc. is looking to expand its operations by adding an entry-level salesperson. This internship position will be ideal for someone who is interested in marketing primarily by phone and via the web. For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities for writing and editing content for the blog portion of Techvibes. This position will balance telecommuting with in-office work.
Responsibilities:
- Executing sales strategies as prepared by the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editor
- Generating online content (writing and editing blog posts, conducting basic web research)
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English)
- Familiar with or interested in technology
- Motivated, discipline, and ambitious
- Sales experience an asset
Duration: Approximately 3 months, flexible schedule, 16 hours per week
Compensation: $8.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses
