Sales Account Manager

Star Solutions is a leading supplier of unique IP based wireless (CDMA/GSM) mobile solutions.

We are currently recruiting a motivated, high-energy Sales Account Manager excelling in value driven solution sales in a team selling environment. Candidates must possess account management and business development experience in the telecom marketplace selling telecom infrastructure solutions to network operators.

As a Sales Account Manager within North America, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with mobile carriers and also customers of unique wireless applications.

Responsibilities:

Present the mobile infrastructure solution portfolio and value proposition to target organizations

Identify and develop relationships at various levels within customer organizations

Build lasting relationships in order to reference customers and deployments

Analyze sales territory/market and work with product team to find new business opportunities

Update sales activity logs and customer forecasts.

Keep up to date with assigned territory news and relevant industry activity

Desired Skills and Experience:

At least 3-5 years demonstrated successful technology sales experience in the telecom or wireless industry selling telecom infrastructure solutions to network operators.

Knowledge of CDMA and GSM wireless networks as well as IP networking

Demonstrated experience in the sales process; building, planning and executing account plans to sell to medium/large organizations, preferably mobile carriers

Must have experience and confidence in presenting to all levels of an organization

Must be able to prioritize and excel in time management and multi-tasking.

Experience in negotiating customer contracts for products and services

Strong computer skills including developing presentations; Powerpoint, Word, Excel

Previous knowledge and experience wireless market an asset

Must have a technical post secondary education in a recognized business program or equivalent is preferred

A willingness to learn and grow
