Senior Systems Analyst

Position Highlights:
As a member of the team, you'll be working closely with project managers, IS Managers, business managers and staff and cross functional teams including Architecture, Infrastructure, Development, Vendors and others.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience leading large project teams to successful project completion
- Demonstrated experience in applying the art and science of project management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience in producing deliverables such as IT Impact Assessments, Statement of Work documents, issue and risk logs, change and decision requests, project plans and schedules and status reports
- Superior self starter and initiative skills, able to work independently
- Superior analytic and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to coach and mentor junior staff
- Ability to interact with senior level management and business clients
- Awareness of the latest trends in technology, particularly related to the Insurance industry
- Ability to bring form and structure to concepts and ideas
- Understanding of applications development and infrastructure processes/functions is mandatory
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; facilitation experience is desirable
- PMI certification is an asset
