Housed within Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division (and based in Vancouver Canada), this innovative start-up project is looking for experienced individuals with a passion for consumer electronics, software and services.
Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division includes the Interactive Entertainment Business (Xbox and Games), the Mobile Communications Business (Windows Mobile), the TV, Video and Music Business (Windows Media Center and Zune), and the Specialized Devices and Applications Business (Hardware, Surface, Office for Mac, Microsoft Auto and Windows Embedded software).

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the production team to manage day-to-day development issues; identify problems in advance and drive creative solutions to fix them
• Gather appropriate information from the team to track and drive to closure risks/issues in development
• Help sort and prioritize issues to optimize development
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
• At least 4 years of professional C/C++ experience required
• Experience with Win32 a plus
• Web development experience / familiarity with JavaScript and web technologies (ASP.NET, Silverlight or Windows Presentation Foundation) a plus
• Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multi-threaded environment
• Ability to understand and handle performance / concurrency issues
• Exceptional Organization Skills. You are detailed and organized. You never let anything fall through the cracks. You are clear, concise, and specific. When you participate in a meeting, you clarify, capture and follow up on all action items.
• Experience shipping games. You have experience shipping games through two product cycles.
• Passion for and Knowledge of Games. Knowledge of and/or experience with Casual Games is a huge plus
• Travel will be necessary at times (Passport required)
