low wage caregiver positions (lower mainland)

It is absolutely ridiculous that some of these people are offering less than at least $18/hr for caregivers. Do you even realize what a hard job it is to take care of a disabled person, whether it's a physical disability or a mental one? One ad even offered $8/hr, unbelievable!!! That's a huge insult to all us caregivers, I am appalled.
