Work will be paid per job and I we will start with some basic alteration work i.e. jean alterations, putting in darts, neckline alterations etc... If this goes well, then hopefully we will continue on to make custom clothes :-) . I have no experience in the fashion industry but I have a lot of interest in it. Manually drive a passenger train when necessary to correct a defect, or to return a train
to the OMC for repair.
Perform planned preventative maintenance plans for ATC & all electronic equipment.
Prioritize work within a shift to minimize unavailability and ensure that planned
preventative maintenance is completed in a timely manner.
Ensure that clear and concise records are maintained for all failures on a daily basis,
including actions taken and preventative maintenance actions.
Recommend and implement measures to improve asset performance and reduce
maintenance costs and/or response times.
Responsible for ensuring working areas, storage areas and duty vehicles are kept in a
clean and safe state and that any equipment or materials used are replenished at the
earliest opportunity.
Assist with training and assessment for the First Line Response Team.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2-year technical degree in electronics or communications disciplines.
Minimum 4 years experience in maintaining electronic or communications equipment or
similar systems.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally. Must be able to
communicate clearly and receive dispatches by radio.
Ability to decide on the correct course of action in the event of an asset failure or during
routine activities, without further reference to the Electronics Leader or Electronics
Supervisor.
Ability to recognize when it is necessary to request advice or assistance.
Required to make rapid decisions when equipment or assets are in an unsafe or failed
condition and apply appropriate and immediate restrictions on their use.
Ability to prioritize workload during a shift such that the effect of asset and equipment

Autism Respite Caregiver needed. (North Rd and Lougheed.)

Introduction:
I am a student who is also a homesharing caregiver government paid by CLBC to look after his autistic brother. Starting January and ending March, I will need a respite worker to take care of my brother while I attend a class that is outside of the range of hours I get for my regular respite workers. I will pay 15$ per hour for 5 and a half hours each tuesday. The job will begin at 12:00 in the afternoon and end at 5:30. This ends up being $320 per month. The autistic one is, for the most part, calm and easy to look after. However, he can get difficult, but there are medications that can diffuse any of his difficult behaviour. He does get aggressive, but has never been known to be aggressive to other people. Instead he self mutalates by biting his wrists. For the most part, he isn't bad, but you will need to have enough nerves to endure such temper tantrums.

Requirements:
-Criminal Record Check (found at Police station), however I am willing to evaluate you based on an interview.
-Resume (You don't need to have previous experience in this industry, I'd just like to see what you're capible of. You could alternatively write an email that details who you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are)
-Patience.
-A casual interview with me to see if the job is for you.
-Contract for those months. You have to be able to keep on working for me during the spring semester. Quitting forces me to drop my classes so it's manditory you work for the proposed months. If you can find a valid replacement if you absolutely need to leave, that is acceptible.

I will provide a detailed document about all of his behaviours when we establish first contact. If you're new to the industry, I can refer you to CLBC or CVS and get you in as a respite provider. If you're already in the industry, I will most likely have a need for you afterwards. For either case, we can talk about making the job more permenant. I will mostly need these services again during the fall of 2010.
