WPCG is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Commercial Lending for one of our Lower Mainland clients.
Job Description:
This role is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-moving, growing commercial lending team in a well-respected local Financial Institution. As Senior Manager, Commercial Lending, you will be responsible for providing credit, and non-credit management solutions for small businesses, as well as evaluating business plans, financial statements and making loan recommendations on credit worthiness for potential, and existing business clients. You will provide seamless lending, banking, investment, and insurance services to business clients and successfully grow existing portfolio with solid, stable, and long term business relationships. Lastly you will be responsible for leadership within the whole Commercial Services department in marketing and sales, providing high level of service to customers, and in coaching/mentoring of subordinate employees.
Requirements:
• Demonstrate a solid capability with evaluating credit and financial statement analysis
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a previous lending role, a focus on business banking and services would be beneficial
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal and ability to influence)
• Proficient in business development and sales
• Strong ability to exercise good judgement in decision making
• Proficient in negotiating skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong understanding of the objectives of other business units and retail branches
• Professional image in manner of dress
