Store Manager Job Summary
The Store Manager provides direct supervision for a team of up to 6 associates and supervises all aspects of store operations. Sales, customer service, bill collection and all activities of the store are to be managed by the Store Manager through a team of people. They are responsible for implementing new product lines and strategies to achieve the targets of the company. The candidate is responsible for purchasing, merchandising, customer service, and all facets of running the store. Day-to-day management of showroom and operations. They ensure that their team provides exceptional experiences while offering the most entertainment possible to our customers.
Management Responsibilities
Recruits top talent.
Trains and develops store associates.
Recognizes associates for great performances and communicates honest feedback.
Maintains financial controls including shrink, labour and operating expenses.
Responsible for compliance with all state and federal laws
Coaches and counsels store associates.
Ensures that store associates offer exceptional customer service.
Assists with maximizing and growing the game business in the store.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum 2 years of management experience (experience in retail and / or restaurant management a plus); or Associates Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Success with recruiting and selecting high-calibre talent
Develop a team that provides the customer with exceptional experiences
Passion for building relationships and serving others
Proven experience maximizing sales and productivity
Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
The ability to work a flexible schedule
