Nucasa – The Finishing Touch is looking for a Shipper/Receiver for our Richmond location. Applicants with warehousing and/or shipping and receiving experience are preferred but we will train a motivated individual willing to work in a fast paced environment, and who is looking to build a career with a progressive company.
We are a busy retailer of hardwood finishing products for the interior of the home. Currently we produce over 1,000 different moulding profiles, a wide selection of solid and engineered hardwood flooring, and a full range of staircase components. Accountabilities
• Receive products from suppliers into inventory
• Place products into display areas
• Arrange shipments of products to customers
• Assist customers with product loading
• Assist salespeople with inventory inquiries
• Assist floor sales when busy, including answering the phone
Requirements
• Passion for customer service
• Willingness and ability to load/unload products
• Forklift Operation Certification
• Good computer and mathematics skills
• Good understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
• Some experience wrapping or strapping lifts for shipping would be an asset
• Strong communication abilities
• A willingness to learn and listen
• Good initiative
