Seasonal Support - E-Commerce (Best Buy Canada Ltd.)

***Please note that these contract positions will start in November***


Join the E-Commerce team to prepare for the upcoming, busy holiday season. You will work in various areas in E-Commerce as required – this includes helping us process online orders and supporting various areas within the dept administratively. This is a great opportunity to perfect your administrative skills and work in a fast paced dynamic environment.





We are looking for enthusiastic people to join us from October to January who are extremely flexible, reliable, hard-working and customer-service oriented with strong administrative skills.





Since we are hiring people specifically to help out with our busiest time of the year, you must be flexible to changing shifts, be available to work overtime upon short notice and work statutory holidays if necessary. Therefore, you must be available to work a variety of hours including weekends if required and must be available to work on holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & Day if required.





The working schedule will consist of mainly days (including weekends when necessary) before the December holidays. Starting the week of December 25th, you will need to work a variety of shifts (days, nights, weekends) from approximately 5am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.

Responsibilities:





Verifies information over the phone


Responds to customer email inquiries


Processes/fulfills online gift card transactions


Processes returns and price protections


Processes online transactions requiring special delivery scheduling


May be asked to assist in various administrative tasks in support of:


Risk Prevention


Order Management


Content Management


Inventory Management


Other various data entry/administrative duties as required





What we are looking for:





At least 1 year of office experience in customer service/administration


Ability to interact and work effectively over the phone


Strong command of the English language both written and verbal; must have excellent oral and written communication skills (spelling and grammar count)


Flexibility and adaptability; ability to multi-task;


Strong data entry experience: alpha/numeric keyboarding skills of at least 50 words per minute


Ability to do repetitious work both quickly & accurately


Ability to manage time-sensitive pressure in a professional manner


Positive, enthusiastic team players who know how to balance having fun while being the best


Detail-oriented individuals with good proficiency in Excel


Professional associates who consistently demonstrate the utmost reliability and integrity
