KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

-Budget and Range Planning
-Manage the financial success of one or more departments by meeting sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI), intake and inventory turn goals
-Analyse historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class, collaborating with the Merchandise Manager and Allocation Planner to develop and communicate a plan to optimise product opportunities by department, class and store
-Own open-to-buy forecasts
-Set parameters for ratio packs, ensuring that they can go out in the initial allocation

Stock and Sales Analysis

-Recap and analyse actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/seasonal basis, identifying risks and opportunities and recommending strategies to achieve financial goals
-Regularly review size analysis and update department ratios, making recommendations and communicating any changes to the allocation team
-Stock Control and Administration
-Liaise with the procurement, logistics and merchandising teams to ensure an accurate delivery schedule is maintained that plans overall intake and stock levels to minimise stock holding and maximise sales, communicating information relating to commitment and intake phasing where appropriate
-Meet regularly with the allocation planners to realise store potential
-Develop an understanding of how to manage markdown stock, preparing markdowns based on guidelines set by the Merchandise Manager
-Work with the Merchandising Administration team to supervise all pricing and markdown instructions throughout the season

Information and Reporting

-Communicate the department weekly sales performance, key driving categories, and best and worst styles
-Compile and maintain seasonal historical and competitive information
-Maintain a competitive advantage by conducting weekly web and in-store research on market trends and pricing

-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
-2+ years buying or merchandising experience
-Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Retail/Apparel Systems

Job Description:

• Be responsible for getting our client's brand out to consumers
• Generate customer curiosity and commitment to signing up for
Our client's product
• Articulate correct brand/ product messages to all
Customers relating to the credit cards
• Ensures accurate collection of captured data
• Responsible for collection and on time delivery of all consumer information
• Handles every sale with a sense of professionalism and takes pride in their work
Experience:

• Event, field marketing or promotions experience would be an asset
• Energetic, positive person who can naturally connect with others
• Excellent sales and communication skills
• A flare for being a persistent negotiator
• Detail oriented person who follows directions well
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• HIGH LEVEL OF MATURITY IN THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS!!!
