Office Accountant (New Westminster)

We are looking for an accounting professional who has exceptional management and people skills.





Summary





Responsible for providing all operational accounting and reporting functions, maintaining complete set of books, managing and streamlining the process in a high volume transaction environment. Manage, implement and oversee administrative procedures and office activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.





Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:





1. Office Management


2. Government remittances


3. Manage Cash Flow (Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables)


4. Administration and Management of Company Benefits Program


5. Electronic Payroll Processing


6. Monthly Billing


7. Bank and G/L accounts reconciliation including yearend


8. Posting journal entries


9. Prepare monthly financial reports





Mandatory Qualifications:





Senior Level CMA or CGA (with three years or more in accounting position)


Strong aptitude and proven competence with computer applications: Microsoft Office, QuickBooks/Simply Accounting


Proficient in the English speaking language (both verbal and written)
