Editor For 180 Pages (Avg 300 Words Each) (Vancouver)

Posted: 21 Oct 2009 07:30 AM PDT

Hello,

I need an editor for the website called The Master Cleanse. It is about a detox diet and the greater topic of alternative health. While it is not neccesary that you are interested in this topic, I can't hurt that you understand some, if not all of the details.

I want the entire site Proofread for spelling and grammar of course, but also slightly edited for concept and content where it makes sense.

I wrote many of the 180 pages in one pass and never looked at them again, and therefore (I have been told), there are many errors in typos, and some repetitive spelling mistakes. Each page averages around 300 words, but that number could be off a little. That would make a total of 54,000 words. I am not sure how to offer compensation (by the word or by the hour), so please provide a salary requirement when you respond.

Thanks

This poster is Horseshoe Press, they are a sweatshop, perfect for the new chinese immigrant.
They will only pay the equivalent monthly wage of $15.00 per hour, might have raised it to $18.00 by now.
No self respecting 6 color Heidelberg operator would prostitute him/herself for these wages.
This shop is run by ex-employees of Best Colour Press with a lot less capital to operate with and treat ALL their employees as chattel.
Highly avoid or at the very least, DO NOT waste your time replying to their ad, I did and I regret having met this people, strictly a sweatshop!
They only speak chinese, they have 1 token caucasian when I was interviewed and he may not be there anymore as he did not look happy being there either!
These are just my observations.
