Our client is a large European plastics manufacturing company that recently set up operations in Canada. They are a dynamic, team-oriented group currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to run a 12 hour rotating shift. Previous experience in plastics manufacturing is required- experience with Extrusion blow Moulding or Injection moulding machines is preferred.


Responsibilities:

-Responsible for managing the production operation to ensure maximum efficiency from all equipment
-Maintaining Holiday and absence records and keeping up-to-date files
-Training and coaching employees on new technologies/working procedures
-Liaison with Plant Management to discuss weekly production plan
-Updating Production data using SAP where necessary;
-Liaising with back office staff on personnel and payroll issues
-Plant Security and Health & Safety
-Interaction and liaison between our Client to achieve full customer satisfaction;
-Retain and maintain all installed equipment in good working order and ensure where necessary that maintenance is actioned
-Organizing monthly team meetings with colleagues to discuss concerns and difficulties in production activities;
-Ensure all reporting systems are updated where needed according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP))
-Tool changes (Mould and Neck,Color changes) and start up of machines


Requirements:

-Minimum 2 years in a supervisory role
-Experience in a manufacturing environment
-Experience with Plastic Blow Moulding machines is an asset
-Strong communication skills
-Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
-Strong Mechnical and technical aptitude

    I worked at this clinic myself for over a year. The manager is a sweetheart and the owning doctor is most certainly not a pervert. The fact that you find it appropriate to slander the clinic on an open forum speaks more about you than it does about them. Perhaps the reason you were let go was due to the fact that you obviously do not value professionalism. Perhaps in the future you should keep your mouth shut and maybe the next employer will consider you worth keeping.


    "DO NOT APPLY WITH THIS CLINIC!! These people are just a waste of time!! I thought I was the only one with a bad experience!! Looking at previous MOA posts, this clinic is a waste of time! They called me, I went for the interview. The lady wanted me to come in the same day, so I did! I met with the manager the first day. Then the doctor the next day. Then the other MOA the third day!! So 3 whole days with 3 hours a day were such a waste of time. They gave me the job! I worked for 8 hours one day and I thought I did very well for my first day. However, the other MOA was so snobby and she wasnt even training me! The manager keeps talking and talking! and o ye, the doctor is a PERVERT!!!!! He could never talk to me with eye contact, instead he was looking at my chest!!! Then, I was let go of because "I was not a good fit"

    Job Title: Personal/Executive Assistant to the President

    We has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and versatile personal/executive assistant to work closely with the President.

    Your primary role will be to organize/optimize our president's activities and communications.

    You will take ownership of the majority of his operational 'to do list' as well as assisting two other members of the management team when necessary.

    Your experience, abilities and drive will dictate the scope of this position. If you are looking for a challenge with wide exposure to all facets of business this position is for you!!

    You are:

    • a successful Personal/Executive Assistant with excellent communication (oral and written) capabilities and command of the English language.

    • comfortable with any and all of the following on any given day.... being at centre of business development activities, taking dictation, researching and procurement of goods or services, making travel arrangements, running personal errands, making decisions for and acting on behalf of president, assisting team with inbound call overflow assistance or ticket purchases, taking initiative to ensure our premises are orderly and clean, coordinating media requests.

    • an entrepreneurial, think outside of the box EA who would like the opportunity to make this position their own.



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of Executive Assistant Experience (or similar role).

    • Minimum five plus years experience in a professional office environment.

    • Post secondary degree or diploma required.

    • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Typing Speed of 65+ words per minute.

    • Experience coordinating projects and related processes.

    • Strong organizational, problem solving and judgment skills.

    • Polished, professional interpersonal skills.

    • Self-directed, detail-oriented and dependable.

    • Demonstrated initiative, high degree of accuracy and ability to handle multiple competing and changing priorities.

    • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

    • Prepared to respond to a fast-paced changing environment requiring flexibility with respect to working hours.

    • Ability to execute duties with tact and diplomacy while maintaining strict confidentiality.

    • Must be able to carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
