I need someone able (with proper qualif.) to install kitchen and bathroom taps (also fix a minor leak under bathroom shut-off valve), remove a garburator, install a water line for a fridge with ice-maker, fix a wobbly handle on oven door, install a range hood fan and (possibly fix a 2 year old fridge tampered with by tenant; I don't know if hooking up to water line will fix present problem).
Taps and range hood fan provided. Everything else would need to be supplied.
Perhaps not o.k. for disabled persons because it's on 3rd floor with no elevator.

short term…

Find qualified person help to carry out the following production tasks:
- Follow pre-made patterns to cut heavy (saddle like) leather with knives, punches, and chisels.
- Assist in dying leather with stains
- Assemble parts to create finished bags, wallets, etc.
- Maybe some sewing

Long term…

The right person would eventually manage production to supply expanding sales demands.

Workload: 20-30hrs. a week

- Be an active team player with a hands-on approach when manpower is in shortage.
- Inspect all assigned guestrooms, both occupied and vacant. Ensure all general cleaning, preparation for VIP's early arrivals and special cleaning requests are done on time and according to standard.
- Training of staff on procedures and standards.
- Monitor and maintain a safe environment for all employees.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and or holidays


MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED:

*2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, or 1 year housekeeping hotel supervisor
*Knowledge of hotel operations, including security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of repairs, maintenance, quality assurance programs.

The best candidates will have experience with the backend aspects such as basic understanding of PHP/SQL. We do alot of work where there is existing code and that code is not optimal, you must be flexible and capable enough to help improve upon such legacy systems, plus have the ability to recreate things from scratch as necessary and appropriate for each situation!

The style we are looking for is not necessarily flashy, but we would be working on interactive things. The ideal is lightweight, yet classy looking and beautiful.

Requirements:
* good grasp of CSS and XHTML to create clean, reuseable site frameworks
* superior understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues with CSS, XHTML, JS.
* experienced with JS and especially jQuery.
* understanding of the DOM model
* expertise in Photoshop and other tools required to fullfill the graphics side of the work
* creative and self directed, we expect you to help design with useability and aesthetics in mind.
* Must be familiar with Smarty templating
* good team skills

Nice to have:
* PHP expertise
* some SQL knowledge
