The WITT curriculum will be based on the successful Discovery to Apprenticeship (DTA)
model with specialized workshops designed to support women entering non-traditional trades.
Eligibility to the program will be based on:

a) unemployed individuals who are determined to be non-EI clients (Have not received regular EI benefits within the last 3 years or Maternity benefits within the last 5 years), including but not limited to:

Currently I have a film in Production (7 days to go), i had 3 films at the toronto film festival this year, and there is more coming down the pipeline. I have been doing this for about 10 years now, and have a solid core of directors and DP's and editors, production personnel, blah blah blah. we all under 40, and we are all a little nuts. the past year and this year have been building years for my companies. things are starting to speed up and i feel like i need an assistant. i've needed one for years, but have been hard fought to find one of use.

If you think that this is something for you, and i have no idea what the job description is; it may involve lunch and drinks some days, it will involve paperwork, and a car would be pretty much required, then send over the who's, why's and whats about yourself.

My partner knows a reasonable amount about some web technologies - just not the ones needed to do this, so what we want to do is to pay someone to give us the heads up on what is needed to make this happen - types of technologies (possible options), how we might go about getting this built (onshore or offshore).

Established family-run lower mainland renovation and finish carpentry company is seeking a versatile renovation carpenter for long-term employment. Our business is located in Langley with the bulk of our work occurring in (but not limited to) Langley, Surrey, White Rock, Delta.

Duties include:
- demolition

- framing & forming

- deck construction, stairs, railings

- finish carpentry

- exterior door unit installations

- drywall boarding and some taping

- painting

- occasional tiling and tile repairs

- light plumbing and electrical experience a definite asset

- have at least 2 years experience in the construction industry and are willing to learn new skills and hone your existing skills
