Job Description Frame Stylist
Job Summary
A Crystal Vision & Hearing Center frame stylist is responsible for assisting customers with frame and lens selections while providing excellent customer service.
A frame stylists main focus is the customer. Building a rapport with customers and great product knowledge will ensure happy, repeat customers. Setting and achieving sales goals is also important and the frame stylist will work with management to be constantly striving to reach peak performance and store excellence.
Major parts of the job will include assisting customers, adjusting frames, troubleshooting, and some paperwork.
Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
All customers greeted within a few seconds of entering store
Greet customers in a friendly, upbeat manner
Professional phone etiquette
Know the Rules of Thumb and tell customers about them
Break the Ice with customers try and stay with them to select products
Use proper fitting protocols
Give customers a personal guarantee
Dispense eyewear
Perform minor frame adjustments and repairs
Ask customers to tell their friends and family about us
2. Communication & Attitude
Communicate well with all staff and management
Communicate concerns or ideas to management
Use of notes in patient files or trays
Follow through with customer requests and job trays
Maintain positive moral
Maintain a happy, bubbly spirit
Consistently show up for shifts
3. Store Administration
Product knowledge including new products and pricing
Use of invoicing system
Maintain patient files and filing system
Office filing
Complete and submit billing paperwork (MHR,DVA)
Send and track frame credits
Sku and organize frames
4. Store Cleanliness
Clean as you go
Dust frames weekly
Have frames neatly displayed
Clean and stock dispensing tables
Follow store cleaning regimen
Windows and mirrors cleaned daily
Be responsible for paperwork to eliminate office clutter
Qualifications
Each applicant will be dealt with on an individual basis. The qualifications are meant as a guideline and can be overruled by any hiring committee if they feel the person will be a good fit with the company. It is preferred that the minimum requirements are met.
1. Work Experience
Minimum 2 years working in a customer service environment
2. Education
Post secondary education is preferred but not required
3. Personal Skills
Strong communication skills
Strong customer service skills and sales ability
Able to maintain a pleasant, positive mood in the store
Ability to create a warm and exciting atmosphere
Professional and effective written and oral communication skills in the English language.
Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
Flexibility to deal with a dynamic industry and staff
Good decision making skills (common sense)
The frame stylist plays a key role in our business. The stylists first interaction with our customer builds a long lasting relationship which keeps them coming back. The frame stylist works with the management team to set sales goals and strives to achieve them on a daily basis.
