BILLING COORDINATOR (Acctg) (Downtown)

High profile international engineering firm requires a bright, confident individual to join their accounting team in their Vancouver office.


In this role, you would be responsible for a variety of billing-related duties such as listed below:


- Setting up/maintaining computerized project files with billing terms and revenue recognition information


- Generation of invoices including: interpretation of billing information received from project managers, preparation of draft invoices,


obtaining all necessary approvals and competeing revisions, and processing final invoices to clients


- Various clerical duties, such as data entry from timesheets, filing, obtaining and organizing supporting documentation


- Preparation of computerized project reports


- Responding to queries pertaining to invoicing and/or project costing


- Review of project revenue, expenses, inventory, write-offs and transfers on a project-by-project basis


- Communication with project managers, division heads, and various Accounting staff.





We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 2 to 3 years experience


in a similar role. This person should be able to prepare accurate financial reports and statements, have knowledge of Finance/Accounting principles,


and have excellent communication, organizational and technical skills.
