NF Dream Makers is looking for a talented assistant manager to join its focused retail team. If you have the skills and experience to drive sales and understand what it takes to be successful in boutique retail then we have a great opportunity for you. Our store has a professional and organized team of three and is looking for an experienced leader to join as the fourth member.
NF Dream Makers offers luxury bedding, furniture and mattresses from Switzerland, Italy, South Africa, Canada, Germany, and around the world. We carry the finest down duvets and pillows made in Canada by Northern Feather. We like to make sure that the service we offer is as good as the products we carry. We work with clients on projects as small as matching a throw cushion to outfitting an entire bed and breakfast.
Duties:
SALES
Customer service.
Inventory management: A key role in the assistant manager position is to analyze the store stock and make strategic orders. The assistant manager will be responsible for receiving shipments and keeping track of inventory.
Training: You will be familiar with all day to day processes and be able to train and motivate staff.
Merchandising: You will be responsible for maximizing the potential of the sales floor.
Special orders: You will track all special orders and be a resource for special order customers.
Computer use: You will master the point of sale system.
