Office Administrator

Innovative pharmaceutical company is currently seeking a full-time Office Administrator for our Downtown Vancouver location. This position provides a broad range of administrative responsibilities; including project tracking & reporting, contact database management and office organization. As the Company is in a stage of enormous growth, we are looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic and willing to share ideas for the continued success of the Company. Successful applicant will be the central liaison for staff & client organization between offices across North America.
The successful applicant will have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc), time management, professionalism and accuracy. Experience with Power Point would be an asset. This position requires a strong knowledge of immediate department organization, procedures, practices and office routines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for:
Word processing of various documents including reports, meeting minutes and general correspondence
Preparation of complex reports & tables
Research and reporting on products, industry, competition, etc.
Office organization of filings, reports, projects, etc.
Proof reading letters, reports and proposals
Confirming and booking appointments and travel arrangements and answering telephones
Receiving clients/visitors and organizing meeting rooms and refreshments
Liaising with staff, clients and consultants as necessary
Other responsibilities as required
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills and a willingness to show initiative and learn new tasks
The ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism.
