Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay Coca-Coca Promotional Local Staff

Join the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay experience by being a part of the Vancouver Island, BC Interior and Great Vancouver Area Olympic Torch Relay activations!

You will be travelling with the Coca-Cola Happiness team to these various locations, generating excitement about the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the Coca-Cola brand, providing millions of memorable interactions to Canadians. You will also be encouraging people to create their own path of positivity in everyday life by believing anything is possible.

All Promotional Local Staff will be required to work all shifts in the Vancouver Island, BC Interior and Great Vancouver Area markets.

Dates
Vancouver Island - Oct 28 - 31, 2009 (Victoria & Nanaimo)
BC Interior - Jan 25 - 27, 2010 (Osoyoos, Kelowna, Revelstoke & Kamloops)
GVA - Feb 6 - 10, 2010 (Merritt, Abbotsford, Surrey, Richmond & Vancouver)

Training
Mandatory - Oct 24 - 27, 2009

Rate of Pay
$13/hr

Responsibilities:
- Energize and excite crowds in outdoor environments
- Act as an Ambassador for the Coca-Cola brand
- Sample product and premiums to crowds
- Load and unload product and premiums
- High energy crowd interaction

Qualifications:
- Passionate about the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games
- Passionate about the Coca-Cola brand
- Self motivated, responsible and outgoing
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive and energetic
- Be a team player & have experience working in a group setting
- Strong customer/client service skills
- Possess a win/win optimistic, positive attitude
- Quick learner with demonstrated superior problem solving abilities
- For vehicle insurance purposes, must be 21+
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs
- Touring experience an asset
- Demonstrated ability to multitask from logistical to communication duties
- Able to maintain a positive attitude under many challenging situations

PROGRAM DATES

October 24, 2009 – December 20, 2009 (Fridays – Sundays)

TIMES (you must be available for all shifts in order to apply)

Fridays from 4pm-9pm
Saturdays from 11am-4pm
Sundays from 12pm-5pm

HOURS

Promotional Representatives: 15-25 hours/week

PAY RATE

Promotional Representatives: $13/hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Successful achievement of program goals and objectives
• Exceptional Customer Service
• Successfully represent the brand

QUALIFICATIONS

• Self-motivated, responsible, outgoing, energetic, proactive, confident, positive attitude, punctual, comfortable speaking with strangers and tech savvy
• Sales experience a bonus
• Goal oriented (able to hit targets)
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
• Coffee drinker a bonus
• Flexible Schedule
