Responsible for design of HTML page layouts, display graphics, demos and advertising banners, HTML e-mails and landing pages for multiple Web sites and product lines. Works closely with the whole Creative Services team to understand the users' needs and objectives and offers design/graphic solutions

Responsibilities:

Providing and maintaining the "creative vision" of Web sites and electronic marketing programs by determining and implementing the program's creative design.
Taking lead in graphical/design direction for Web sites, and for assessing front-end usability/user experience and the effectiveness of the information architecture in supporting it.
Creating Web graphics for promotional and informational efforts.
Creating and effectively arranging graphics, images and all other content into a creative, cohesive and visually-stimulating end-user experience.
Designing and creating HTML e-mails and corresponding landing pages.
Creating demos, intros and specialty projects using Flash or similar technology.
Performing continual quality checks of design of all Web sites and making recommendations for revisions, as needed.
Contributing to the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs by designing fresh, attractive page designs in a timely fashion.
Assisting in the testing of designs to ensure compatibility with company systems, especially lead processing mechanisms.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, new ideas and solutions for how to creatively develop high quality interfaces.



Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree and three plus years related experience and/or training in Web design graphic design.
Solid design education, background and experience with Web design and graphic arts training.
Must be well-versed in standard Web design software (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, Flash).
Should have strong HTML skills, as opposed to relying exclusively on HTML design tools like Dreamweaver or GoLive.
Must be able to hand-code HTML from scratch with a mastery of all the syntax, including a thorough understanding of CSS.
Experience in JavaScript is a plus.
Experience in Flash strongly recommended with knowledge of ActionScript a plus.
Must have a solid grounding in information design principles and standards for the Web, as well as an ability to design and optimize graphics for efficient bandwidth transfer.
Must possess excellent client relationship skills and be able to understand customer needs / objectives and offers design/graphic solutions.

programmers
