Beach Grove Golf Club in Tsawwassen is looking to hire a full time 1st cook.
Job qualifications:
High School Diploma
Food Handlers Course
2-5 years line cook experience
Job requirements:
strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitary regulations and be clean and presentable at all times (i.e., report to duty punctually wearing a clean and correct uniform and safety shoes)
ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your co-workers by upholding the safety rules
ensure that your co-workers practice safe work habits
ensure that all equipment in the kitchen is clean and in good working condition before use
adhere to sanitation standards as outlined by the Public Health Department
read and follow prep lists
supervisory skills required
must be prepared to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
food production, preparation, presentation, and service delivery
monitor food quality, and ensure proper standards of food preparation, rotation and storage
assist in establishing menu specifications, plate presentation, and creating visual food displays for all outlets
participate actively in a multi-functional work environment.
